I guess I'm partially retarded or something. I seem to be having a lot of trouble getting FB IDE to work.

I installed it and set the correct paths for freebasic, but when trying to compile I get the error about compiler parameters. I found the compiler parameters dialog but can't make heads nor tails of how I'm supposed to properly set up the parameter string to compile a simple program.

huh odd vongordic IDE pretty good.

have you try compiling some of the example programs with the FB package. if they work then it somthing with your code.

another think you could try is deleting the copy of FB you have right now then go to and dl this

this is a package version of FBIDE with FB compiler package
the nice thing about this is it has a installer which will make shure it installs right.
