How do you make a .exe a .bas? I have this program I made and put it to .exe now I want it back to .bas....

So...is this possible?
Not with languages like C or FreeBASIC. It's like trying to unbake a cake and extract the ingredients.
Or trying to undevelop Carmen Electra
you can deassamble an exe though...
No disassemble!!!

Seriously...

I think your pretty much out of luck. Cry

The best thing you can do is make backup copies from now on. Wink

why would you want to..... Big Grin

gods im so pitiful ::walks away shaking his head::
You can disassemble the exe to an assembly file but you cant get back the qbasic code.
Ok, then that's bad.

I'm having a Random error in my QB file but my EXE clone works so I wanted to convert my EXE a QB. (Look at the Random QB error topic).

Well I DO have a younger version of it, but then I'll have to redo a lot of stuff. *sigh*
Smile What did you do,make a EXE and deleted the BAS or something?

I though I had a sistam like that once, ASIC 5.0, I might be remembering wrong, it converted something to BAS.. But if you look at a EXE thru Notepad, they have that ASCII crap going on, just like BMPs, and we've converted them back where QB can use 'em.

What to say you can't convert EXE??? It be nice, you could customize pro job games, well, that with FB or C++, heh, oh well.
Problem solved no worries.
