What the hell is an "hydrosolator"? I saw a show blaming "wierd" car accidents on this part. I have talked to a couple of my friends and they have no idea what the hell it is. Anybody have an idea?
Doesn't exist

I did a quick google and came up with a thread about that show....
Big Grin Oh, oh, let me guess, the show was selling something..

Hmm, really, I know alot about cars, thats not a part I know of...
It damn well certainly does NOT exist. Car enthusiasts wouldn't give a car part a name like that. Tongue

What the heck would that be anyway...combined solar-hydoelectric generator?
hydrosolator sounds like "water isolator". Maybe it's the part of the engine that separates the upper from the lower. I'm not so much into mechanics, but i've been told that if that piece gets weary or breaks your car will die promptly.

Maybe it is just another name for something you know. I can assure you that in Spanish it has a very funny name.
Either it doesn't normally go by that name, or it doesn't exist.
Well, the "show" was supposedly a documentary about this weird part called the "Hydrosolator". They claim that this part was actually responsible for "suicidal" behavior of cars. I didnt get the entire documentary so I dont know what this car part is supposed to do(according to the creators of the show)
