FYI: Anarky uploaded his entry to my website this morning. I don' t know if he was planning on posting about it here, but I thought I'd spread the good word.

You can check it out here:

Description: "Remember the old arcade games you could put 20c in and play til you dropped? Think waaaaay back to those days. Space Invaders is a staple part of a programmer's life. Here I have for you the original clone. Nothing better than this. If there is, it's a rip-off or re-vamp. Don't want to know about it. I suggest downloading this. It's tiny, and worth the look. "
Hey this may be a bit late, but I posted my entry up on your site Pete last night.

Okay, it looks like there's four official entries: TheDarkJay, Lachie, dumbledore, and anarky. If there are no stragglers (there shouldn't be), I'll set up the voting thread within a few hours (got IRL stuff to take care of first).
Errr....did anyone liked the humor in my entry?

I'm trying to convince myself that I'm not completely worthless when it comes to being funny.
For sure Big Grin. The humorous backstory made the game 100x better. it made the game real fun. (btw, i spent countless hours beating the hundreds of levels on some gameboy edition of this game Wink)
Did you guys know that I actually downloaded and played the ORIGINAL space invaders on my computer??

Yeah..unfortunately, my old computer got trashed....along with the game.
