I use a VCD control tool to mount my Vice City ISO, so It doesnt burn up my CD-Rom Drive. But I cant just autoplay it from the drive, because it still says there is no disk in the CD-Rom drive. To get around this, I start up the game with the CD, then as it is loading take the CD out and it switches over to the mounted VCD, which it pulls the sounds and radio statiosn from. This is fine, but I have an ISO of a game that I have lent to a friend, so I dont have the actual CD, And when I try to autoplay it from the VCD, Z: drive, it says there is no CD in the drive. Is there anyway around this, like making the computer think that Z: is a real CD drive?
Use daemon tools. Windows can't tell if the created drive is virtual or real. It always works.
