i'm thinking of buying a apple classic II :o but i'm wondering if there is a programming w/ basic syntax that i could use on it.. sinse i'm still learning basic, i dont wanna confuse myself by learning another language.. .also, i'm not planning to program in c++ but is there a flavor of c++ that will run on it?

there are some MAJOR differences... i wouldnt even learn it, theres no point, most of the commands are obselete and.. slow... and... lacking much function and and and
i cant remember exactly but theres some command to set gfxmode (like screen) i think its like GS or SG or something, but once you do that there is not PSET, its called plot...
dont believe theres an "inkey$" youll have to do get(key$)...
if you wanna save your progs youre gonna have to INIT the disk and then set up a master and a slave (dont ask me how i forgot x.x) etcetc...
this was all very common to me when i was like... 8 yrs old =P now.. its just pointless to look back that far... except for pure nostalgia...
OH yeah and theres no ide, you have to program line by line
and when you wanna see your whole prog you have to type LIST and it will scroll thru it.
dont believe theres functions and subs, again, may be wrong, i just wasnt very advanced back then =p
lol, you dont know what youre getting into <.< its so easy these days...
unless theres like an IDE to program in apple basic that i dont know about LOL, but my comp that i bought crashed like 2 days after i got it with a little "Fatal error" message and this weird looking thing that would slide back and forth across the screen so i figured out how to program it from there xP...
hmm, sounds like trouble... i got a mitx board w/ integrated processor, and gfx.. and 1 pci slot.. i was thinking about gutting a mac classic, and putting the mitx in it..and taking out the old crt, and putting in a lcd screen of the same size.. and making it look really clean.. and put winxp on it... lol, then i could use it for my mobil diagnostics computer or something like that
where would you get it? ebay?
