Instead of supplying ~30 MB of data (after it's been install.bat'd) with FreeBASIC's only package, you should supply it in different packages. For example, I know I'll never use things like OpenGL and the heavy graphics stuff. I can delete it, sure, but I never really think about it. Some of those libraries... heh, I don't even know what they are. And therefore, I'd never attempt to delete them.
Anyway, it'd be cool if you could split it up into different packages - e.g., a graphics library package, a GUI library package, a Win32 API package, et cetera. It'd let people pick what they want, save a bit of disk space, make installation faster (the install.bat file took about 5 minutes on my 2600 MHz P4) and it would let people see just what kind of neat-o stuff FreeBASIC can do before they even download it.
