What do you think...would it be worth my time to port the CG compiler over to qbasic?

What language is it written in now?
You may find it easier to port to FreeBASIC instead of qbasic, especially if this is C code. But if you really want to port it to qbasic then ok, sure go nuts - can't wait to see it, whatever it is.
CG as in
C for Graphics? That's the only CG compiler I've ever heard of...
I really couldn't say unless you posted a link explaining what CG is.
