Last friday I won the 6th anuall St. Mary's University High School Programming Competition. This is the third year in a row

The prizes wern't as good as they were before.. I got a mouse phone and a yoyo and some videos. But the thousand scolarship is good

After the competition the professer incharge of their own programming team talked with me.. there going to put me on their team to practice with them all summer.. I won't compete with them this year, since I won't be graduation untill next year -- this just gives me a reason to graduate!

Man, I wish they held that contest in my school... I'm pretty sure I was the only person in there who knew what a programmy-thingamajigger was.

Jofers, I echo your sentiment. I was actually denied entry into a compo for being "too young". That was a LONG time ago :-?

I wish we had such a contest... except programmers are so rare around here that they'd have to have a division-wide programming contest, as i'm the only programmer in my school. Gets kinda lonely.
