What libraries are included with the FBIde package, and what do I still need to download. FOr instance, i don't have SD.dll or whatever it is, and I have no clue where to find it

I don't have it either? What is it used for or what are you trying to use?
all of them are listed at the bottom of the readme file. (you did read it, right?   )
Freebasic for windows includes only static libraries and the wrapper libraries needed by the linker to interface with the dll's. Static libraries are self- contained so yo udon't need anything else. The dll's are not included , the readme.txt file lists the URL's where they can be found. Just go to the URL, download the runtime package and copy the dll to your windows\system32 folder.
Freebasic for linux does not include the libraries, as they are included in the develpoement packages included in the Linux distributions (or can be downladed from a centralised URL) just ask your Linux system to install the dev package (it may need to download some files)
Well, I did read some of the "readme" file, but I didn't think the "Links" section would have anything intresting...
Ok, i have the list and whatnot
thanks for covering for my stupidity :bounce:
