for $25. Big Grin It needs new strings, but other than that it looks good.
what is it? where did you get it?
Yeah! Tongue Acoustic? Electric? What make? Pics?
25$? Ahh, so I see you're using it for guitar smashing at a gig. Tongue
nah... i plan on playing it. Wink

It's a Yamaha. I can't remember anything else about it right now: it's not on me right now.

It's accoustic. No pics came with it, but i'm sure i can coax a friend or two to part with one. Wink

Sorry for taking so long: I was away all week. Got a car! Big Grin

Also, remember that van I rolled? They declared it totalled. We ended up getting $7000 for it though... Not bad, considering that lots we took it to offered only $3000 for it. We got a 2002 grand caravan. I shudder at how much renewing my license will be though...

No no, pics, not picks. Tongue (pictures)
I own a Yamaha Deluxe Folk Yamaki acoustic, given to me by my extremely generous music teacher (more of a friend/jam buddy really) who bought it awhile ago at a pawn shop with no strings or bridge when convinced by his ex... and it sounds amazing, and is probably the easiest and most natural-feeling guitar I've ever played, despite looking somewhat beat up and dinged... some of my friends have nicknamed it 'The Dartboard'
heh... i'll see what i can do. Wink

I can't explain it, but the feel of holding the guitar feels so comfortable... It's like putting on an old shoe. I've never played the guitar in my life, but when I picked it up, I felt like i've played it before. It's just kinda weird. Tongue

and btw, no, we don't have to renew when we get in an accident. But I just know that it'll cost a helluva lot more now. Tongue

::EDIT::

found it on the web...

WTF? You can't by an eletric for 25$! Silly goose Tongue

BTW, 25$ in Canadian money is around 20$ in English. If you(barok) buy decent strings since you said you need new ones, there gonna cost atleast half the price you payed for your guitar. Smile

Regardless, you can't get a good guitar for 25$. My friend got a 50$ guitar a while ago, and it's pretty much crap. Once you get somewhat decent and understand, you will not like your guitar that much and resent it Smile. I purchased a Strat when I started playing guitar, just because it was a reasonable price and I had a couple of friends who had one. When I got better, I realized it wasn't the greatest decision.

I also bought a ukelele when I was down in Hawaii, for 20$... It's not the nicest thing...My sister got one for 10$.. :barf:

I know it sounds like I'm trying to bring down your post, but I'm not. Smile

EDIT: Unless you got some grand spanking deal...:maybe this guitar is not what I think it is...Smile
Um. Of course it's possible to get great instruments for cheap prices. Just not too common.
Like I said, my guitar (looking it up a few days ago and it got pretty damn good reviews) was given to me. My Fender electric/acoustic mandolin-- around 100 bucks, worth over 200. You just have to look.

Oh, and...

...Pardon me? I never said a good electric. I once saw a (original, not one of those numerous knockoffs) fender strat in a pawn shop for around 20 bucks. Of course there was more than likely something horribly wrong with it, but hey! Tongue Also, as long as you're not buying new and/or from some guy who knows his guitars, it is quite possible to buy a good electric guitar for a startlingly low price.
