Python is a scripting language
QB is a compiler =P
Python is more updated
QB is from the 80s
Python has uses tabs for code blocks
QB uses codeblocks command thingys
Python automagically gets variable times
QB you must define and stuff
Python can use modern libraries (sockets and some GUI stuff)
QB is DOS =P

that's not entirely true, python
can make windows executables, i dunno if it's really compiling or not though, and qbasic is an interpreted lang, sorta like a scripted lang, whereas quickbasic is interpreted / compiled.
Fine not entirly true but the idea behind it stays

It goes without saying, however, that in many areas, FreeBASIC trumps python.
As for qb, it's a twenty year old program. JAVASCRIPT is faster and more functional.
Python is not the language of choice for games, but it works great for networking apps (Look at how good Bittorrent is doing). FB easily beats it when it comes to speed, however.

Are all the clients that use bittorrent python made? I was under the impression that some weren't.
