and failed. But I made lots of friends. Here's my story.

Yesterday morning I decided that I needed to immediately find out the meaning of life. There was no more time for waiting for answers to this precious question, so I started thinking of who would possibly know the answer.

I went upstairs to ask my dog if he knew, and he wasn't much help.

Although I felt frustrated by his response, he was able to inform me that there were animals that had been around much longer than himself that lived at something called "the zoo". I figured that if they were older than my dog, it would be with them my best chance to find the answer would lie.

So I began my trip to the zoo. Everyone knows that no trip can be without a faithful trip companion, so I found one for myself.

She doesn't appear strong, but she has amazingly quick reflexes and she's able to crush a man's skull with just a little pressure from her pinky finger. I figured she was my best bet for protection and guidance.

First, we enlisted the guidance from someone we heard would know much about life through all of his travels: the butterfly.

He informed us that this would not be the case as he had spent his entire life in something he referred to as a "butterfly house". He did mention a different portion of the "zoo" we could check.

Although they were the most talkative of all the animals we met, they weren't exactly all that intelligent. Something was mentioned over and over about a cracker and so we figured someone had gotten to them first to make them keep quiet. Realizing this, we moved on in our jouney.

While on our way away from our previous helpers, we ran into these two. They seemed as if they knew a lot, but my guide informed me that it would be too hard to get in between them to get information. Once again, on we went.

While walking down a trailed, we came across this odd looking creature with a funny hat. The purpose that I could come up with for this hat was maybe to reach things too high for his arms.

After spending too much time debating about his hat, we were able to make contact with him. He explained to me that there were many older animals throughout "the zoo" but he would not be able to help us as he had just flew in. I wanted to mention something to him about his lack of wings, but thought better of it.

Again we left this spot with no more information than we had when we left the last.

After a long walk, we came to find three brothers. Once we introduced ourselves to them, they explained to us that they were models and were too busy to answer questions. I started to ask if they knew anyone that could help us, but they quickly ignored me when they received a call from their "agent".

Further walking lead us to this furry lady. Although she was very friendly, I had my guide do all the talking on this one as this lady had very large teeth. I don't know if she visited the dentist often or not but I knew that I would hate to be hers.
While debating with myself on the teeth situation, my guide was able to speak to her. She mentioned that she knew an old wise man who may be able to help us.

After some brief girl talk between my guide and this fanged lady, we moved on in search of this wise man.

Following a short hike, we stumbled onto the so called wise man. We spent hours speaking with him on all matters of life, yet were able to extract no answer for our journey. I felt as if I learned a lot from him, yet didn't learn anything at all.

Our conversation went well until he was hit with flying feces flung by his neighbor. After the collision between his head and the poo, he raced after him. We decided it was time to move on.

Just as so many times before, we were walking with no real destination in site, just hoping for an answer to our most intriguing question.

Shortly after leaving the wise man we encountered this man. While he seemed to very well groomed, he kept making what I could consider to be passes at me. At first I just assumed he was very friendly. That assumption shortly left my mind when he was mentioning something about my rear to my guide. I chose that to be my time to run. Oddly enough, my guide ddin't have a problem with this decision.

While trying to hide in some tall grass we found this mother and her son out for a walk. The mother did not seem to be in all that good of a mood, so we didn't bother asking her the question. In fact, we were just on our way out of this area when we ran into someone who called themselves Jimmy.

Jimmy didn't know the answer to our question but he said he knew of a great spot to swim. Both my guide and I decided that we were tired from all the walking a brief swim would be very relaxing.

After a short swim with Jimmy, we decided to continue our search. He said that if we swam through this body of water north more we could find some more people with whom we could speak.

We did just as he directed. And began swimming in the direction Jimmy mentioned.

After what seemed like twenty minutes of swimming we ran into this guy. He was a very nice guy. He wans't able to answer our question he said, but because he didn't want us to feel we had wasted time talking to him, he'd show us some tricks.

First he climed onto a piece of ice that was floating nearby and started doing some interesting flopping manuvers on that.

Next he showed us how to blow bubbles while bobbing up and down. I was really impressed with his tricks, but my guide dragged me away stating that we needed to keep moving.

After much more swimming, we were able to find a beach and speak to this lady. As we walked towards her, she started barking and there was much scurrying in the sand behind her. Shortly after the scurrying stopped, she jumped in a hole in the sand behind her. I felt very angry as I had never such antisocial people in my life.

A walk down the beach led us to a very large floating lady. She although not seeming large at first, grew very quickly when she stood from the water. I was too much in awe by this to be able to question her. Somehow my guide missed this and had passed on walking a quick speed.

We changed our minds on walking anymore on the beach and met an interesting fellow. He seemed to be busy with whatever he was doing with his log and on questioning from my guide, he snapped while barring teeth in her direction. I figured this was as good of a time as any to proceed and my guide quickly agreed.

A few steps away from the angry gentleman, we met this very hairy lady who spoke with a lisp. She had a very large tongue and I assume this was the cause to her speaking disorder. I, after spending this whole day in search of an answer was growing very impatient while trying to understand this lady speak. While my guide was speaking with lady on whether or not she should get her nose pierced, I snuck away to find some kind of answer to my question.

Somehow through my walking, I accidentally ended up in a cave. Fortunately for me though, this cave was also the ladies locker room and a few were showering. I wanted to stay and watch all the fun that I assumed happens in girl's locker rooms, but was found by my guide and reprimanded heavily. Unfortunately after we left the cave, it was too dark to explore anymore.

The drive home left me feeling empty for not being able to find the correct answer to the question I had tried so hard to find. I felt as if I had wasted a whole day in search of something I'd never find. While speaking with my guide about this, she explained to me that maybe the answer to my question was as simple as I thought it was and maybe life was about making friends and enjoying life as I had done today. She felt as if I had spent my time well there. I felt that I'd agree with anything as long as she came home with me.

THE END.

Yes, I know I posted this at fbtk, but I spent some time making this post, so I figured I'd let a wider audience view it. Yes I know I probably made some typos on this, as I didn't spell check, so you grammar nazis (*cough*DrV*cough* Smile ) don't have to kill me. Hopefully the story was still enjoyable.

I'll add comments later when I'm not so lazy.

Haha. I'm always staring at her. I've been doing it since I first met her almost three years ago.
