for some reason, everytime i restart/shutdown my computer, my entire itunes library is erased!, gone, destroyed, vaporized! :o

the worst part is, i cant figure out how to put music from my ipod, onto my computer!, all it does on the import screeen is show my: contacts/messages/notes, no music files.

anyone know whats going on? :???:
Not sure, but it could be the security tags on the music files.. you're only allowed to use music you own, not music you've downloaded.. and crap like that..
CALL THE GEEK SQUAD!!!! thats my solution now

I hear they're really expensive.
What? You mean Best Buy's "Geek Squad" or the real thing? Here is a list of prices:

Best Buy - 200USD basic service charge + 100USD/hour pay rate
Geek Squad - 600USD basic service charge + 1000USD/hour pay rate + 200USD/hour protection (insurance reasons)

Hmm. . . I'd prefer to fix it myself for a lot less than both. . . (all prices were made up)
the only geek squad thats near here is pyrokid.
itunes doesn't care where you got the music files from, or wether or not they are illegal. i haven't boughten i single song from itunes or anywhere else, and i have around 16 gigs worth of mp3's in my itunes library. did you run any virus scans lately?
well, i hope this lasts.
i just ran spyware doctor, it found 6 of'm, and i restarted my computer
and surprisingly the songs are still there :o Big Grin

so now the only question is getting music from my ipod onto itunes...
i dont own one but my sister has owned an ipod for about a year now and she doesnt know how to get them off her ipod. its got to be possible because i mean its on there to begin with so you should be able to get them off. google it mabye.
wow the geek squad is really expensive....wow.....

thats all i have to say
