Quote:.....i never read manuals, does exist anyone? The best source of QBasic or Quickbasic information regarding how a statement or function works, is the original Microsoft manual. Right on this forum there's an option called "QB Online Help" which is an excellent reproduction of the original Quickbasic manual.
Another good source of information is right here at the QBN forum, by asking other members and getting different opinions.
Tutorials are also a pretty good source, but you have to be careful because they are the opinion of only one person and his experience. You also have to be careful with Basic programming books for the same reason, plus you never know the level of experience of the author.
I can recommend a free book written by Ethan Winer, a well-known and proven expert on QB programming. You can download the text of his book at:
www.ethanwiner.com
The bottom line is that you need to have authentic reference material on hand when you're programming. You can't be expected to know everything by heart.
