This computer never stop surprizing me.... Here lately all my Icons have been 256 colours.. But after rebooting a few minutes ago, all my icons went back 16bit
(Or what ever, better than they been looking, but my colours are at 16bit, so...)
Now I'm very sure my Icons will go back to 256 colours when ever I reboot agian.. As it did this not to long ago,. How long it stayed on 16bit I can't remember..
Is there a way to stop this? I like the 16bit ones better...
There is a setting somewher in windows, I think it's right click on the
desktop->properties, and then under one of the tabs, there is a
checkbox marked
"always use highest possible number of colors for icons"
or something like that, make sure it's checked, although it would probably
not help getting rid of the problem, since I think I can remember the
problem persisted... oh, I assume you're not on XP right?
Heh... I'll check that out next time it goes loney... It's checked on atm...
