I went out browsing at Future shop and came out with a Zire 31. Sure, it's an obsolete model, but I got it for $100 compared to $200 anywhere else... crazy.) It's quite a nice little toy. Yesterday I put on a graphing calculator program, word/spreadsheet/powerpoint processor, a new shell, a c++ compiler (all the basic compilers I find for palm really suck... they're not even compilers, just interpreters.) and more.
The thing that really sucks though is that the zire uses 5 directional buttons instead of the traditional up-down-4 hardware application launcher buttons, which means that a ton of programs won't work for it. Like NesEm or Phoinix. Oh well... It's fun to play with. And in colour!
