i was thinking about remaking the mapping system so it was pxp to make it really easy to see where you could and couldnt go, as well as adding some dialog

what do you guys think? also, is there anything you would like to see added / changed?

and lastly, has anyone found the secret bat-kitty monster that gives you the red armour? >)
Adding some dialog is always good :-)...helps give a certain sense of coherence and following to a game of this nature :-).

I gotta say it's already a good complete game design...what could you add more than perhaps more level to level master combats and/or puzzles with a greater level of challenge. :-) Perhaps more different scenarios that can happen depending on where you are and how much power/health/experience or any other levels you might want to add :-).

SO far I didn't find a secreat bat kitty....but I'm not giving up hope ;-). lol
hmph... I was ready for alot of things, but I wasn't ready for THAT!!! Wink Stupid kitty.... first time I fought it I died a miserable death without even scratching it. Well, I shouldn't really say that... Second time was alot better. By then I discovered it's secret weakness, so the third time I managed to kill it. Wink That equipment rocks!

Anyways, anyone else find the secret kitty kitty? Or am I the only one?

i didnt find the kitty =/

i was beta testing it and then when the full version came out i played it non stop till like level 8 or 9 and then died without saving it ever, so i gave up

that is one of my worst freaking habits ever ;P
I think you should make a sequel. The released game is already very good and I think a sequel would be great fun to play.
well a better way to select spells would be nice so you don't have to go into the menu to select a spell. the only reason zelda link to the past got away from it was that there was no spell recharge time since you system has a recharge time the spells should able to be cyle though in battle.
you could have shift as a spell cycle key, then alt to actually cast the spell... ctrl would just be for the menu.

Btw, I noticed a bug... if your being hit by a spell and you bring up the menu, you'll continue being hit by that same spell until it wears off. It was particularily nasty against that kitty kitty when I was trying to heal. Tongue

Oh, a word of advice to those who wish to slay the kitty-bat... NEVER USE A THUNDER BOMB OR STAND STILL!
I personally think a sequel would be awesome. But I wouldn't be able to tell you how you can continue it.
thanks for your input guys. im not sure if id be able to do a sequal. that would take a lot of time that i dont have. but it would be nice to see what else is happening during the war instead of just one city's viewpoint. it would also be nice for the game to be party based, where the computer controls the other couple characters SOM style
