Seph has been banned for 2 weeks because of the spam topics and flamebaiting he's been attempting here.
Aw, come on! That's not spamming or flamebaiting, I figured you'd know how Seph acts by now and that most people here know it too... :roll: I previously disagreed with a friend when he mentioned he disliked your style of administrating, but... I dunno, now. This is getting ridiculous.

Sumo has stated he's trying to make QBN the good place it used to be.. You know, when flaming/spamming/posting random crap wasnt allowed..
A family forum/serious place..

It's not like he's unfair.. I dont know how many times he's warned me.. only to have me go bash him over at FBTK
Yeah, Sumo has to carry on with the QBasicnews style of administrating. He's still much less uptight than the older guys in charge, mind you. I kinda like this place more than ever.
Anyhow, I kinda agree with Josiah in the thing about everybody knowing not to take seph seriously when he is bored.

I speak with seph fairly often outside of qbn. He just went on a spree today of posting a bunch of things and I attempted just to talk to him about it. His only response was that he didn't care and was "having fun watching everyone get upset". I attempted to explain the rules to him, but he didn't listen and only attempted to get me angry at him. I told him that he would be banned and he said that was fine with him. He's just mad at me now because he can't read the news.
Seph needs someone to be his enemy or needs to see other people upset to make himself feel good. Someone intentionally posting topics ot get a reaction out of people, such as mentioning that two members of this board fool around, I'm not going to let it happen. If I let Seph post that, even knowing the way he is, I'm letting him hurt the integrity and pride of those users. That is not fair to the general users of the forum.
To say that my administration style is different is fine. But as defined by the site's rules, there is no flamebaiting and spam topics like that and if you receive warnings and continue, you are banned. Seph has been banned enough to know the rules and he's been warned by me. I'm sorry you don't agree with this decision.

I know you can't take him seriously, but I can't make an exception for him just because "he's seph and we don't take him seriously". It's only because he wants to upset people and because he thinks he'll get away with it that he does it. If I make an exception for him, I have to allow it from everyone that acts that way.

But think of new guy, like.. Axipher.. he was banned for the same reasons, posting random crap.. so then seph shouldnt be allowed..
If one is allowed, everyone should be allowed.. otherwise this forum is crap and i wont visit.. special treatement is bad

The topic was moved to our admin junk forum before you probably saw it. It was the primary reason he was banned though as it was a direct flame towards two of our more contributing members.
