Dearest all of you QB45/QB71/FB community this morning,

Hello to you all once again, and I just got back from an awesome Super Bowl XL party at the house of one of my uncle’s from many MANY miles away!!! Big Grin

You know, Super Bowl XL was one of the absolute greatest Super Bowls that I have ever seen in years. Period, the end. Cool=b ! Part of the reason why is because of the number of critical interceptions of both the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers which led to touchdowns back and forth, you know that? Now that is some great TV right there, I must tell ‘ya for sure!!!

Eventually, when the dust finally settled at the end of the 4th quarter, it was the Steelers that rose victorious as the supreme champions of this Super Bowl with a final score of........
  • Steelers — 21 • Seahawks — 10
All in all, *quite* a phenomenal game!!! :king:

As for the new Super Bowl commercials that came on this year, my four favorites of the whole entire bunch were:
  • • Burger King’s “Whopperettes” commercial
    • Nationwide’s “Fabio Shampoo” commercial (brutally hilarious.... you just have to see it!! :rotfl: )
    • Cadillac’s newest “Escalade” commercial (gotta love the woman rising out of the water! Big Grin )
    • ESPN Mobile’s “Sports Heaven” commercial
....in which all of them there were simply TRUE works of such clever, original, and so masterfully creative art in and of themselves, you know? Wink

And as for that other Super Bowl commercial where there was a love relationship between a grey Godzilla-type creature and a giant 50’s B-movie robot, thank God definitely that I closed my eyes throughout most of that commercial right there because I thought that was the most downright obnoxious and moreover pathetic commercial that ever crawled into TV! Big thumbs down from me there!! :-?=p ! I mean, come on, there are much better ones out there (remember Apple Computer’s “1984” commercial from back in the day? Now that was a TRUE landmark, baby!!! d=Big Grin=b ! )!

Anyway, to see your favorite Super Bowl commercials again plus get the very, very best of Super Bowl XL right here, the place to be is at http://www.superbowl.com, ok? ^-^

With all of that in mind, y’all, did you have yourselves a Super Bowl party this year? I am looking forward to hearing your stories. And hey, if you got any favorite commercials for this Super Bowl, jot ‘em here!!

Be seeing you all later with your replies, and thanks so much. Wink=b

I enjoyed it in my living room.

Also, you can also see all the commercials here.

Personally I thought the "magic fridge" and the one with the bear were the funniest.
I didn't...football is boring. Big Grin
Superbowl? Oh. That american thing :/

I agree with Nek. Who the fukc says we enjoyed it? It's retarded.

However, I did enjoy the commercials... well some.
At my computer...

I like the ads only tho.. I think I used the game as a break to get up insted.... ..... I actualy have no memory of the game....
They even showed it over here in the UK. I think thats because there had been terrorist threats, so they didn't want to miss out if anything happened. We tend to prefer 'football' to be a game thats played mainly with the feet.

You know something, man, since obviously the Super Bowl is one of the biggest things ever to hit television only once a year, major companies like Pepsi, Budweiser, Warner Bros., and Burger King pay literally millions upon millions of dollars in big money to show us such specially-designed TV advertisements that take us definitely out of the ordinary and even inspire us into something special like never before! And boy, this year was *truly* no exception, believe me!! Big Grin !

Another commerical worth noting is Pepsi’s “Hip Hop Can” TV ad, which I thought was mind-blowingly original and no less than a great one especially for mainstream pop-culture music fans everywhere!! And look, Sumo Jo, this was one of the very few commercials in 2006 in which the can of Pepsi itself just oozes such truest personality of its own, as if it were just alive and taking no prisoners while it is at it! That is what makes it a excellent favorite with a lot of us, to be so honest here!!! Cool

And thank you so much for the link, by the way! Wink=b ! Catch you later!

I enjoyed the parts I saw (most of it) and the commercials were better than last year though they still are not up to their regular standards imo. Why is football called football? I don't know and I don't care. Its fun to play and fun to watch and thats good enough for me.
I liked all the budwiser horse ads.... ^_^
