my program wont calculate my stuff. this is what i have to do:
This is a Q-basic project. This is worth 25 points and is due Feb 28th. You are being asked to write a program that will calculate the cost to paint the outside of a house. We will assume a rectangular house shape. Your program should read in the customer name, house dimensions, number of doors and number of windows. Doors and windows will not be painted. Assume a painter can paint 150 square feet per hour and a gallon of paint can cover 250 square feet. Figure into the cost an extra 15% for paint for waste and for painting trim. The painter makes $23.00 per hour plus an extra $700 for prep work and paint costs $18.75 per gallon. Donât forget sales tax. Print out the customer name, total cost and number of gallons of paint used. All doors are 7 feet high and 3 feet wide and all windows are 5 feet high and 2.5 feet wide. You must use a loop. Run your program with the following data:
House 1 â 2 walls 30 feet long by 28 feet high, 2 walls 20 feet long by 28 feet high, 2 doors and 12 windows.
House 2 â 2 walls 43 feet long by 31 feet high, 2 walls 28 feet long by 31 feet high, 3 doors and 15 windows.
House 3- 2 walls 52 feet long by 34 feet high, 2 walls 32 feet long by 34 feet high, 4 doors and 18 windows.
can any1 help???
