Last night, a teacher was busted for distribution of drugs. Yep, a schoolteacer, one who teaches children. And it was a schoolteacher from right here in Camuy. Twenty bags of cocaine and six bags of heroin, plus six bags of marijuana. Ouch. :o It's been all over the news today, it was evening news last night as well. Lots of funky things around this case...

-She was a math teacher but rarely actually went to class. How she kept her job is beyond me.
-She was often seen walking around town, stoned offa her ass.
-The arresting officer was a former student of hers. Talk about embarrassing.
-She also faces charges for attempted vehicular homicide of a policeman.
-She was a teacher for 26 years, she had only four years to go before a nice comfortable retirement.

Now she'll spend at least the next 15 years in prison.

Drugs don't pay.

i remember seeing a person (from some place in Europe (Berlin maybe)) being interviewed and they said that they wouldn't sent there kids to American schools for a million dollars.
