After coming to realize that my internet has been slowing down...alot...I figured out that I have a nasty virus, which has taken hold of one of my folders.

Its in: C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Owner\Incomplete

Virus scans, and Spyware sweeps only freeze up when they come to that folder, and when I try to view the folder, or delete it, it freezes up the window, and gives me an 'error reporting' message.

Does anyone know of any other way to delete, terminate, set fire to, or detonate an explosive device in, on, or around that folder?
Well, do that without formatting the hard drive....

Thanks!

Try booting your computer thru a command prompt. i think you reboot, hold f8 and choose it (or something)

"C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Owner\Incomplete" ?

so do this

first, in the cmd prompt, put in

Code:
c: <enter>

then

Code:
cd "\Documents and Settings\HP_Owner" <enter>

(with the quotes)

then type

Code:
deltree Incomplete <enter>

get back with what happens
when i choose any of the load options it just brings me back to the os menu. I can only pick from the hp recovery and normal os. Help?
do a full format, it works 100% of the time and cures all (non hardware) computer issues

Nothing to fear anymore, me, Pyrokid, and Killee13 himself fixed the problem.
