Very good for a new user, but I think your UltimateQB title is a little weak, although cool. The intro to your webdesign site has nice effects, but it seemed bare to me. Sorry I'm being to vague!
yes very vauge! ummm, the web design intro may have been bare, but that would be because I only know how to do 3 effect with the text so far!
moving, fading, and warping the text! but It's so much more powerful, can't wait to learn more!
oh, about the title... I came up with that years ago! I wasn't all that creative when I was 13! not really now that I'm 15 either but hey, working on it! :bounce:
yeah, Flash is cool. But don't worry, they're ruining it with their new crappy interfaces and their beefed up Flash programming language.

Dunno what's your problem with ActionScript, but now (MX) you can make graphics and whole movies using just code. Small as hell, also. The banner I made about Frantic Journey in the now extinct Genso's Junkyard was about 1'30" long, but just 17kb (mainly used in the frame*frame animation of the main character) and used 4 frames in the main timeline. Almost all the animation is in the AS code.
And the new crappy interface is almost the same as the previous one...
My suggestion: try to decompose the UltimateQB logo. The text doesn't need to be a bitmap, as that color effect is quite easy to achieve. You'll end saving some time for the viewer.
Other than that, nice work. And small file size, that's good also.
