Hey,

Me and 2 other guys are working on a university assignment, we chose to do a 3D game for cell phones and we need a real map. The actual game is a platform 3d game where you controll a ball and you're supposed to get it passed obsticles and into goal. So the modeling part is pretty easy and shouldn't take more then 1-2 hours for anyone who knows what they're doing. The modeling is done is 3D studio max, maya or lightwave. Your choice.

I would be forever greatfull if someone would help out.
Hmmm... I might do it. Exactly what kinds of models do you need? Do they need to consist of only triangles? Do you need models for the obstacles? More info required. Wink
Do you have msn? Otherwise we could talk on efnet channel #bad-logic
I just need a simple map that doesn't look like crap. That's pretty much it. It can't get worse then the one i made Smile

Check out these two games to get the idea

but much simpler of course.
Wow... It looks really cool. Tongue I'll go ahead and make a test level. Let me see the one that you made.

EDIT:
Damn, that flaminggamer server is slow.
It has to be pretty low poly though, cuz it's supposed to run on cell phones. So no more then say, 800 triangles?

Here's the one i made, but you get the idea.

Damn... 800 trianlges huh? That's a pretty low polygon count for an entire level. I'll see what I can compe up with though. Wink
Yeah, thought the platforms don't need to have volume, they can just be planes
Ok... that's cool. By the way, I couldn't load your model. I'm using Lightwave 8, and it just wont load, for some reason. :???:
Ic, it's a 3ds max 8 model.

You'll need these

http://www.mascotcapsule.com/M3G/download/e_tools.html

The first one is and exporter plugin for lightwave, with it you export the h3t format. The second one is an h3t -> m3g converter and an m3g viewer.

Check the use manual of the exporter to see how to set user ids, becuase the ball needs to have user id 254 and the box, plane or whater shape you want that thells the 3d engine that this is the goal area needs to have user id 255.
Ok, I'll download these... but is there anyway I'll ever be able to play the game on PC? Is there an emu or something?
