ogg is good substitute for mp3 since it doesnt have all the legal crap tied to it.
tried again, same thing. a 5 second clip of pops, no voice, no anything, excpt LOUD pops. :-?
and about .ogg, they canalso be smaller than mp3's, while retaining higher quality. it's one of those 'programmer' formats ;p, like png, that isn't as widely known as the others. libogg is open source =)
Ogg is really just a container format (like AVI) - the normal audio compression codec used in Oggs is called Vorbis. But anyway, Ogg Vorbis > (MP3 + MP4 + AAC + WMA + ...).
