Often times I have dreamed of a thing so glorious

I remember the good times we had,
When I pulled the turkey from the bag,
Slathering ranch over your soft, white bun...
Sprinkling shredded cheese on top,
The crisp lettuice glinting in the early morning halogen.
The top bun went on, my mouth starting leaking.
I raised up the plate, triumphant
My glorious sandwhich.
With onions in place, and napkin in hand, I set forth
Difficult cannot describe the task ahead...
For your glory was overcoming my determination.

(I actually have no idea... but it makes sense in my brain. Mind you this is the same brain that decided to make a mammoth sandwich that I couldn't finish and therefore take a picture and write a poem)

man, coders should really stick to code...not to say the poetry itself is bad or anything, but the subject+inspiration....

The thing I love most about poetry:

You can say anything you want to and it's poetry. It doesn't have to rhyme, it doesn't have to make sense, it doesn't even have to flow. If it's words, and they're legible, it's poetry. :bounce:

Plus is this is FAR from "art" or "music"... therefore I figured General was better :laughing:
