Does anyone remember Super Maze Wars on Mac OS c7.1?

I got a very not bad (albeit beta and no sound) clone here for Windows. Download here and have a test. The file you want is "mwinstall.exe" Let me know when and who should host the fragfest. As in, when it's best for everyone to play, and who has the fastest upload/download connection.

It will be a fragfest to be continuously run for 24 hours. Unlimited gameplay, and a 100x100 "Open" grid. I haven't thought about teams yet, so get back to me.

Have fun!
yeah i was playing it with anarky last night and its a pretty good game, easy as anything to understand and pick-up.
so whens the best time for everyone to play?
Simple, yet fun. Smile

I can pull 24 hours from late saturday to sunday.
(I've got my cousins wedding on sat. morning Big Grin )
Never played it before, but it looks fun. I'm in!
Wha? i won't be pulling 24 hours. I meant that's how long the game will last, and you may come in and out as you please. I have no way of recording scores, so at the end of the game, whatever score you had please post here (in a new thread I will start).

But, if you think you can pull 24 hours playing it, don't let me stop you.
shall we try and make it for sometime during this weekend? illl be available probably sometime from like 1:pm - 11pm sat and same for sunday. that time is in CST btw GMT (UT) = CST - 9.5 hrs
I was thinking maybe Sat 13 or Sun 14 March. Otherwise i would never have a good go at it because of real life issues. Besides, it gives people more warning of the Fragfest and more time to practice and hone their skills. not that you need any.

The time is 24 hours straightm start to finish.

The timezone you mentioned is GMT +9.5 (Adelaide ACST)

I'm still wondering who would like to be a host. I maybe could, but if 20 or 30 people are playing, my 128kbps upload may be a little strangling. Can anyone do better? I'm not sure what http://www.slimeland.com has to offer...
i might be able to be online that weekend. im not sure if i will be at home or at my aunties place that doesnt have the net.

and it doesnt take up that much bandwidth does it? when u and i were playing i was only reading 1-3 kilobytes up/down. but yeah fastest connection possible would be good.
Even at that pace, I can handle maybe 15 to 20 users, give or take. But I don't really want to risk it. I want stability.
Can we start it on a friday night? That would be best for me. But I'll do whatever you guys do.

I can host the server. In fact, I could host the server now for practice, and so we can do whatever. I think I'll do that :wtnod:
