The Edmonton Oilers shock the hockey world by beating the Detroit Redwings in a thrilling game 4-3.... the Oilers scored 4 goals in the 3rd period to come back from trailing 3-0... let's not forget that the wings had an absoultely stellar season losing only 15 games (I think...)

That was a crazy game... I was glad for Edmonton, though...

Also, Colorado Avalanche beat the Dallas Stars....stupid dallas, haha.. This is excellent, my favorite team, Colorado, beat one of my least favorite teams, Dallas, and another of my least favorite teams, Detroit, also lost!

Ain't nothin' gonna break-a my stride... Ain't nothin' gonna slow my down... oh no.

So anyways, what are your predictions for winner of Lord Stanley's Cup? I'm with Colorado, but I'm biased. :laughing:

I dunno... Colorado looks like they're going strong, beating a strong team like Dallas. However, I'm hoping one of the four canadian teams win the cup: Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary or Edmonton. I haven't seen that many canadian teams in the playoffs for a long time. I really though Montreal would easily win their series earlier on, but I guess Carolina came back. Oh well... even if they don't make it, still three other canadian teams to try to claim the cup... I'd really like the cup to come back to canada this year.

I watched Edmonton's third goal, a beauty. I really think their fourth shouldn't have counted, though.

That last one? YEAH it was frikin' nuts. Sakic just kind of backhands it from way back there and it finds it's way through... Turco was pissed :wtnod:

If you're talking about the goal that got kicked in, then I agree. I was watching the game and was a bit frustrated by the allowing of both that and the high sticking that lead to the kick in. But then again, I'm bias towards the wings, so it could just be me.

I was cheering for the Oilers, but I still thought it was kicked in. But imagine the riot if they disallowed it.

Umm... are we talking about the same game? I'm talking about the overtime goal in game 5 verses the Kings.
