Dearest all of you QB45/QB71/FB community,

Hello to all of you, and after about a month of absence from the QBasicNews.com forums, I am back!!! The reason for my absence is because I am exclusively working on something *very* new and special in FB, I am not gonna even show it to you yet. I just want it to be a surprise for you within this coming summer, and I will be letting you know what it is...... when the time is right. Consider this my early birthday present to you in honor of my 29th birthday tomorrow!!! =b

Now then, I woke up today at 6am in the morning for my grandma to immediately take me by Jeep to get my sister’s stuff transferred to her new dorm room (she will be a senior at college this fall, so great for her! :wtnod: ! ). Deep in the middle of that, while the whole lot of stuff was being transferred, all of a sudden, BOOM!!! :wow: At first, I was like, “Man, I hope that tire didn’t blow out!!”, but, it turned out to be that the ball joints literally came loose off of one of the tires, oil leaking and everything! With that happening, there possibly could have been a potential chance of the Jeep flipping and turning over at least four (4) times!!! My, had that happened, me, my sister, and my grandma could have had all ended up with serious injuries or even dead (and I would possibly not even be standing here today!)! But THANK GOD that the Jeep did not even turn or flip over at all, and now, here I am in one whole piece!!! d=tar:=b !

With that potential tragedy successfully averted, I am just plain ready to rock you all more than ever this year and more!!! Just stay tuned, and I am gonna show you a special new game-creation side of me you have *never* seen before this summer in FB!!! That is just part of how I am gonna bless you. Period, fair and square. :^_^:

Look, I simply think here that every person is just as important in the FreeBASIC/QuickBASIC scene as they are outside the scene there. So in this case, man, every single person (including me and you, too!) is unique and special, definitely!! And we are NOT gonna let anyone else take that away from all of us here now!!! !

Anyway, you will have a shot at something new from me this summer... perhaps an *entirely* new FB game original!! And this is where I will keep things hush-hush for now. But I will say this: I am using this to have myself some good practice to sharpen my game proggie skills for re-doing Frantic Journey using the new base of AFlib2. In other words, lots of things to look forward to, TheAdventMaster. Lots of things!!! :lookup:

Not a problem, and I thank you by the way for your serious support here.

I am glad that I am alright and alive indeed!!! ! Unfortunately for the Jeep though, it is not alright due to the fact that the tire literally turned and ended up in a real crooked direction. From yesterday now, that thing had to be towed and taken back to the house safely, but not before I had to wait around a couple of hours. Eventually, we all turned out OK.
