I'm not exactly sure, but I think breaking down H(2) forn O is a long process.... A car couldn't do it fast enough to fuel itself.... And the working concept is backwards of that:
Hydrogen and Oxygen (pre-separated), mix in a fuel cell to create high amounts of electric current and drive powerful electric motors....
Anyone see the Monster-Garage episiod where they made an electric drag car powered off stacks of 28v drill batteries? The car was pretty fast + it was powerful enough to burn out.... Got a pretty fast 1/4 mile time also,
given it was electric and built into a heavy old hot rod.... :mrgreen:
sweet....even if it was expensive and still needs stations, at least it takes the power source out of the middle east......if you know what I mean. We won't have to smooch up to cruel, oppressive, completely anti-US-ideals dictators to ensure a power source for transportation anymore....now thats nice...
The thing that really impresses me about it, is how enviromentally those engines are.
