Wow, good job. I'm glad to see you took to the materials so well. I was absolutly clueless when I first started, so there were no colors on my first few models.

Saw the new entry. Nice again. One thing though, is that the blade is a tad bit too reflective. It's hard to see the shape of the blade if you know what I mean. 8)

Cool. Another suggestion, is the floor. It's also too reflective. Wooden floors aren't usually quite that shiny. It looks like you just used the wall texture on the floor again

But yeah, the floor looks like it had silver primer before the varnish was laid.... lol.. Also, Steel has a bit more of a difused refection, not a perfect reflection.. Unless you like a chrome plated sword.. :winkwink:

heh, I figure though, if you use the right steel, it wouldn't be hard to lift.... Given the fact I have a 40-lb Chrome-moly BMX bike frame, (which is really heavy to bunny-hop @_@ ).. Yet the same frame design w/ Alluminum Alloy(sp?) weighs only 2.5-lbs.... Both can take a rough bashing... Chrome-Moly is cheaper though.. XD..

I may be mistaken, but Titanium is also a light/strong steel..

You'd have to be one of a kind of a blacksmith to be able to get the right amount of titanium going to make a sword like that.

Although at that size, you don't have to worry as much about how stiff the blade is, until it breaks that is >_> Then you're screwed. Might as well put a warning on the blade to stay at least 50 ft away just in case you hit something too hard.

If you mastered adreneline, perhaps you could pick up a sword like that always Just, die at a very early age.

being a welder and a hobby smith, if you temper your steel right
the core will stay soft while the shell is tool steel hard,
and if it does break it will only crack, at that point you just
braze the crack to allow the stressflow lines to realine and
strengthen back up!
