Here is one of the cars I was working on for Dr_D's and Rel's kart game.. It's pretty much finished, for the outside, and these are the finial renders of it:

 Enjoy!
Looks cool! Future kart designers must've come up with a way to eliminate the need for axles... Wink Looks sort of like a race car that really wants to be a semi truck when it grows up. Smile

Yeah, I was gonna say... How do those wheels move? :b
@ Josiah: http://fileanchor.com/54914-d <-- Get the movie out that file.... The inner peice spins the outter rim around itself, if you notice the rail inside the rim of the Ant images, and how that hub motor is attached to it....

I've seen other designs like that, and picture of a Porsche with rims like that.... If they actualy work in real life, I dunno.. but it looks sweet on paper, and in a video game!

:winkwink:

@DrV: I was waiting for someone to call it a truck, or close to a truck, ...
I guess I should have started a new topic about Rattra joining the team, but I wanted to wait until we have a demo with a few cars/tracks to choose from before doing so... and that wont be until shortly after the new version of Newton comes out. Anyway, Rattra is adding a whole new dimension to the game with his design ideas, which should put our game right over the top! Rock on! Tongue

Rattra, you already know what I think about the cars. :bounce:

Oh.... XD .... I was going to stay quite, but then I saw you post my two renders on FB.net (which seems to have more trafic), and a guy at one of the car design forums I get on said the renders could be done better.... I just thought'd I'd share the updated renders.. anyway, Tongue

:winkwink:
I could probably sketch some drafts out for you to play with also, but don't get me to do any rendering of it. Smile I have an idea or two but I need to see what's already been done.
