Well, christian, but it's not a debate question. I'm writing a story for one of my classes and it involves prophecies in the book of revelation. I was sure that somewhere in the beginning of the apocolypse the saved were brought up to heaven before the end of the world started. I for the life of me can't find it in the bible. What chapter:psalm is it? I'm not too familiar with the bible b/c I'm not christian, but I know it should be in Revelations.
You're refering to the rapture... and to tell you the truth, it's not in the bible. Many will point to a verse in Thessalonians, one of them... It says something about being caught up in the air, but it's meaning is often misinterpreted. The point is, that I'm not going to try to shove my beliefs down your throat... if you want to find out what the bible actually says, then read it yourself Tongue
yeah, you were talkin bout the rapture there. where the believers were brought to heaven and the sinners were left to suffer through unbearable plagues creating a hell on earth. the apocalypse refers to the end of the earth where everybody dies and goes to heaven and hell accordingly.

and i would also like to make it clear that this is discussing merely in terms of literature.
No... no... no... You've got it all wrong.

Fat people goto McDonalds.

Skinny people goto Subway.

McDonalds is hell and Subway is heaven, the bible uses symbolisms, everyone knows that Tongue
So...hell is cheap and heaven is expensive? I'd rather go to hell...
Exactly.
Yes... but Jesus paid your bill for you, so you can go to Heaven.
Heaven doesn't have tasty fries.
No... but tasty fries have artery-clogging fat, which can kill you.
