For whatever reason, internet explorer does not end the process after I close the window. The process will remain active. So if I open internet explorer 30 times there will be 30 internet explorer processes even if I close all of them. How can I fix this? I have spybot search and destroy, but can't find anything related.
Virus. The best virus deleter is linux.
actually the best opensource virus scanner is AVG.

Actually that's what I have....AVG and it came up with nothing...so I don't know if it is a virus.
format your hardrive and kill yourself. Now.
I usually just format when i get a windows virus
Why are you using Internet explorer and why no just and the process yourself. Another option is to make a program that uses th Windows API to check for more then 1 process of ieexplore and end them.
Gosh I hate it when people act like it's a sin to use IE.

Because I want to use i.e.. Why NOT use it? It's faster than loading netscape and why have firfox when i.e. is already installed on the computer. I DO end the processes, but it's simply irritating. I'm not switching to any other web browser so either help me find the solution to this problem or just don't say anything. Sorry for sounding angry, but if you're not offering a solution, why bother posting?

I do not have C++ to make the program.
