in one of my programs, the user is asked to enter a file name and if they enter a name that does not exist the program exists and goes to the error screen in qbasic...

Is it possible to over-ride that function and create error messages within the program that displays the closest matching filename and asks the user if they would like to open that instead?! :o

I'm just doing a quick poll to see if theres any intrest if there was a new section. The new section would be a project info section where anyone could post info on their current project with screenshots/etc. There would be the 5 or 10 last updated section on the main page and a page listing all projects by genre/alphabetically/etc.

EDIT: The No option seemed to have disappeared ;-) Not intentionally however..

Hello everyone!
I´m a IRL freind of red_marving and I could needs some help I think he´ve gotten sick of me asking him everything and I don´t think he knows the anser of this anyways...well what I need help with and i`m not sure this is the right board to ask it, is: I´m running QB from school and here we gotta this spooky Lan witch makes everything very limited though there is a few putters witch I can use QB on and I`ve been experiansing some probalems with using the screen moods witch I´ve never seen red_marving have anywyas do anyone of you know what I should do to make it work or if I`m screwed I think thats the spelling of it) and the server only likes red_marving :red_marvin:

Have you used or seen a nicer ide?

Also am I the only person who seems to prefer QB's overpowering uppercasing of keywords and keeping one variable per variable name?

Well there hasnt been much activity at TRINTS online for a long time. But I desided that time is over. TRINTS online is going to focus more on providing help for beginners rather then making projects. But I cant do this all at my own I need ppl that are willing to help.
