It was sarcasm =P I was joking. I know a pure qb realtime mp3 player is not possible. May be a mp3 to wav converter and then playing the mp3 is possible =)

Can someone give me some pointers on useful progs that are in my field of knowledge eg. File handling(not compressing), FTP 2.0 maybee. sumin like that

why not do a simple chat program over a LAN?
The idea is the server will run your chat program and people will connect to the server using your chat software and then anyone connected to the server will be able to chat with any other person on the network. I know it sounds a little complicated but it is pretty simple to do in Java. So why not QB?
