I've come to a shocking conclusion! - SJ Zero - 02-27-2003 Only programmers are capable of making websites that don't suck! I came to this conclusion after seeing dozens of decent sites made by programmers, but then seeing sites like http://www.geocities.com/colorblindband2002/ http://www.geocities.com/thundercloud_griffin/ http://betrayal696.tripod.com/Index.htm and http://www.geocities.com/wolf_pyros/ I now realize that programmers are the only ones out there capable of making halfway interesting AND navigatable sites. Striking out further, I now realize that the majority of non-programming sites suck! How did this escape me before? I don't have a clue. I've come to a shocking conclusion! - Agamemnus - 02-27-2003 I'd have to disagree with you there. I kinda liked the button animations on the second one. Looks abandoned, though. And geocities can really mess up a website... Modify: Quote: Only programmers are capable of making websites that don't suck! to Quote: Only self-taught l33t programmers, like Agamemnus, whose Flyingsoft (http//www.geocities.com/pisforpi/flyingsoft) website is awesome, are capable of making websites that don't suck! I've come to a shocking conclusion! - SJ Zero - 02-28-2003 That's waaaay too much purple for me on that site -- and the HTML is broken in mozilla. I've come to a shocking conclusion! - Agamemnus - 02-28-2003 It's geocities' fault. My HTML is perfect. What purple? :???: You mean the background? I've come to a shocking conclusion! - SJ Zero - 03-02-2003 The URL you sent me seems to point to web1000search.com I was talking about all the purple on the second site. I've come to a shocking conclusion! - Agamemnus - 03-02-2003 oh. That's funny. I forgot the colon after HTTP!!! http://www.geocities.com/pisforpi/flyingsoft/ |
