For my 250th post, I want to show you all something special. - Dr_Davenstein - 07-25-2004 I like the music from Duke Nuk'em. :bounce: I think that it's by Megadeth, but I'm not sure... anyone know...or like the game? Guys and gals, hereâs a round-up that I have lassoed in! ^_- - Adigun A. Polack - 07-26-2004 To all of you: Yo, a splendidly wonderful new week to all of you, and I hope all of you are truly enjoying your favorite arcade/PC/console game music so far!!! ! I want to let all of you know right now that currently on Emusica, while the music tracks from some arcade games like ESP Ra.De., Tatsujin Oh/Tatsujin II/Truxton II, Chase H.Q. and Stike Fighter have for now been removed, for the week of July 25, 2004, do enjoy all of the original music tracks from the following arcade games:
And to NovaProgramming (and any of you might want to listen to this, too!): Well, I have just today listened to some original music from the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive RPG smash entitled Phantasy Star IV, and guess what? THEY TOTALLY ROCKED, *especially* where Genesis/Mega Drive music is concerned!! ! Four of the gameâs tracks (âHer Last Breathâ, âLaughterâ, âOozeâ, âMotabia Villageâ) are mightily excellent examples of how fine game music is to be created, as they are all dramatic, touching, gut-wrenching, and beautiful at the same time in a pretty major way, I gotta say!!! And, to listen to the many of the original tracks from Phantasy Star IV, here is what you do:
Thank you all so gladly much, and remember, do keep on rocking to those game music memories!!! ;*) !! I donât expect people to listen to the radio all the time. - Adigun A. Polack - 07-26-2004 To HQSneaker: I gotta be especially honest here. From my last post, I donât necessarily mean that people listen to either station all the time and that is it. Come on. Of course people got other varieties of stuff to do besides just one thing alone, as the listening of either station is *entirely* up to them for themselves. I mean, they are just as free to choose what they like to do as you and I are, and I cannot deny that. That is all I am saying, HQSneaker. That is all. No harm, no foul. ! Talk to you later now. - Adigun Azikiwe Polack One of the Founders of âAura Flowâ Continuing Developer of âFrantic Journeyâ Current Developer of âStar Angelic Sluggerâ Webmaster of the âAAP Official Projects Squadâ For my 250th post, I want to show you all something special. - adosorken - 07-26-2004 "Her Last Breath" (Alys' death scene), "Laughter" (Lashiec battle music), and "Ooze" (final boss music) are the greatest soundtracks in Phantasy Star IV, with "Ooze" easily being the best. Other good ones include "Cybernetic Carnival" (combat theme for vehicles) and "Behind The Circuit" (dungeon theme for certain areas). There were two musicians on the PS4 project, and although the musics blend well together, you can tell who did what from their different styles of composition. Man, have you hit the bullseye on that one! ^_^ ! - Adigun A. Polack - 07-27-2004 To Adosorken: Man, I *must* tell you that you are definitely correct on that one. ! And you are 100% correct as well that there were indeed two (2) musicians that composed the outstanding music for Phantasy Star IV, and those two wonderful people were:
Just wanted to let you know of some fascinating material like that, and thank you so much. ^_- !
