AAP Site reaches 1000 hits - wildcard - 05-04-2003

The AAP Site updated with news that it has now reached 1000 hits. The QB Game Developer sections has had 28 new files added to it. There is also a "surprise" for those who visit the site. You can visit the site at http://polacka.xepher.net/.

I'm at school, and do you have any idea how long those pictures took to display? On cable???

yeah, it's xepher.net. some guy got a dedicated server, dished it out to everyone, now hundreds of people have websites on there with movies, pictures, music, downloads and other bandwidth-sucking stuff so the speed on those sites are veeeery slow.

i'm downloading fj right now and i'll mirror it on the vplanet server soon enough.

Cool. AAP is funny, isn't he.

to be honest, someone needs to take away his formatting options before all the epileptic readers get seizures.

Maybe that's the surprise... for epileptics, I mean.

the "surprise" is this download which has taken as of now 8 and a half hours to download from xepher's crappy server...

AAP Site reaches 1000 hits - oracle - 05-05-2003

It'd better be worth it, eh?

Now, I can't even display the pages. :*(

FJ right now is even a surprise to me.

AAP, did you get the sounds onto the engine? I have a working "Virus Bringer" boss that I've worked on for the past week. I'm just making the animator easy to work with. But right now, the boss is just too big even if we scroll vertically. You'll see what I mean. :*)

Hey guys, does XMS(no super extended calls <64 MB flat) work with NT and XP boxes? The boss uses the "morphing" algo to do some animations.

AFAIK, yes. As long as you're not using XMS 3.0 calls, that's it.
