QB Express Celebrates One Year: Issue #12 Released - Pete - 07-22-2005 I just submitted an extensive bug report to Mozilla (bugzilla.mozilla.org). The Bug # is: 301637 Here's my report: Quote:Opened: 2005-07-21 15:54 PDT QB Express Celebrates One Year: Issue #12 Released - DrV - 07-22-2005 Thanks! Let's hope they can reproduce and fix it. QB Express Celebrates One Year: Issue #12 Released - Pete - 07-22-2005 Yeah, absolutely. I searched through their archive of bug reports, and surprisingly, I didn't find this exact bug reported by anyone. I found a lot of errors with "gray boxes", but they all were different from the QB Express error and most of them had to do with form input and drop down menus and things of that nature. QB Express Celebrates One Year: Issue #12 Released - Rattrapmax6 - 07-22-2005 Heh... like the stills, I've been growing curious what they looked like on the page.... Been wondering also.. With all these bug reports, is FF some sorta freeware? "Firefox had its 50 millionth download, less than 6 months after the release of version 1.0." If you seriously didn't know about firefox then you get outside too much *is breathing heavily* *cough* anyways nice job on QBExpress12 QB Express Celebrates One Year: Issue #12 Released - Pete - 07-22-2005 :o Rattrap, aren't you the one that still uses the built in AOL browser? You must not have tried many other browsers then. Nothing tops FireFox in my book. I've been using FireFox almost exclusively since...well...since before it was even called FireFox. I think I started with FireBird v0.4 or something like that. I've also got IE, Opera, Avant Browser and Netscape installed too, for good measure. QB Express Celebrates One Year: Issue #12 Released - whitetiger0990 - 07-22-2005 Yeah I also was using it since before 1.0 Though not early enough to get firebird =( QB Express Celebrates One Year: Issue #12 Released - Rattrapmax6 - 07-22-2005 I happily stay behind a IDE all day... not really caring for much else... My net hunting/researching abilities are often placed on hold unless I need really need something... And no, I got to playing with my rusty old IE.. It runs these Forums better than AOL since it doesnt update the history every min, messing with the new posts... .. AOL 7.0's gif and jpg support sucks btw, I didn't notice that until I looked a jpg on my FTP compared to one the same 1 on IE.. XD (AOL 8.0 and higher crash my comp...) Oh.. so my guesses where right? cool,. I might look into it... QB Express Celebrates One Year: Issue #12 Released - rpgfan3233 - 07-22-2005 I've heard the Fx for Mac isn't very good in terms of speed, which is why there's Camino and Safari (Safari isn't made by Mozilla)! I've been using Firefox since version 0.8. Propaganda truly does have an effect. I can't solve the gray box problem without messing up IE. I think I might just try recreating the QBE #12 page (long process, but probably worth it. . .) It could then use it as a template for future issues, if the gray boxes can be removed successfully without changing IE. A complete redesign may end up helping. |
