Can I legally call my company incorporated in the US? People have told me I can't and others told me it's the only way to go.

You must fill out some forms in your state to officially incorporate a company. If you are just using your "company" as a tag for your freeware programs/games you shouldn't use "Inc."

As you can see, incorporated companies are companies with shareholders and requirements for various filings, such as income statements.

So, if I want it to be a legitimate company and I want to expand the growth of it or something, I have to register it? And if I'm just using it for a name for recognition then I should go with interactive. Got it.
