"Have you ever heard of Fileanchor.com?" - NovaProgramming - 07-30-2006 Personally I like the idea of advertising because you're basically mooching off of other people's websites to generate revenue for YOUR website, which then in turn the website who's advertising must be advertised on, and thus the circle of internetical life continues. It's quite beautiful :') "Have you ever heard of Fileanchor.com?" - TheAdventMaster - 07-30-2006 Like your avatar, or mine. It's a work of God. Unfortunately, it's only 50 cent pieces and boy are they hard to pass. Right now, we don't make too much off advertising. We're still working on finding the perfect way to offset hosting costs without being too intrusive to the users. We don't want to be covered with ads (*cough imageshack cough*) but we can't move to our dream server until we have a better way of generating the income. All in all, most months it comes out of my pocket.
