Modplug does a horrible job of loading/converting MIDIs (at least the ones I've tried).

Yeah, that's true... I'm sure there's some other trackers out there that can load/convert MIDIs though.

The latest guitar pro has a cool thing called RSE (realistic sound engine). It writes in MIDI, but puts it's own realistic sound patches for a few instruments that really add to the realism.

It can export MIDI as WAV

iTunes can probably do it, but default it converts everything to AAC, but I'm sure that it will convert to a WAV. If you can't, mount the midi on a virtual cd drive, then change the preferences for the import feature of iTunes, then import the "disc".

Everytime you stop and start recording again 60-seconds is added to the limit. It's more useful for recording things in parts.

Quote:The best thingo would be using virtual synths on ACID or another program suited to load VS's Wink

But all that is soooo expensive unless you know how to use emule.

yeah, but the problem with that is it will load the MIDI channels, and you will have to replace it with the instruments that come with the program. it can be useful :wtnod: , but this time I want to stick with the crappy original midi instrument.

and emule? bit torrent ftw...

thanks for the responses everyone.

Okay then. I wasn't aware of that limit on WSA. Audacity however, should work.

unless you mean loading the track into the program and the exporting them as a waveform. because that'll just leave the files blank.
