The operation of this Japanese abacus, is not a binary system, a system of calculation is based on 6, using only: 0,1,2,3,4,5.
It is a system of calculation based on the numerical position, as at present.
You can do addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, square roots ...
It is a calculator 2000 years ago!
The people of antiquity, were not as ignorant as it may seem!
I have made this program simply out of curiosity graphic / math / history.
