[Linux] TinyLinux install problem.
#1
I posted (approximately) this message to the Usenet group comp.os.linux.slackware, but thought I might as well try here... I know this is a group primarily of MS users (of which I am still one) but, eh...

When I run the setup program, I get "bus error"s when attempting a lot of the operations. I have a 486 100MHz with 8MB of RAM and a 560MB HDD. It seems to me that this means a device is unavailable or something, and I had heard that there might be problems insalling with 8MB of RAM, so I increased the size of my swap partition (from the insanely small!) 8MB to 16MB. This seemed to cut down the errors, but did not stop them. From there I increased its size to 32MB, same deal. From there I went to 128MB(!), but this STILL doesn't solve the problem! What am I doing wrong?
