Quote:Yes, I got the Logitec Driver Force on my PS2,.. it makes it feels so real, jerking, garing, the ability to feel the car move.... Great idea!! but leave a keyboard or such control other than this, not all ppl can handle those wheels, , my brother can't stand mine really..
Yes, the Logitec momo I have is very nice.. Rubber wheel though not like the leather wrapped wheel in my car. But the force feedback is awesome!
I would definately allow for arrow keys.
Yeah, I know the physics can get very detailed if you want to accurately model real-world cars. I doubt we would get into anything that indepth off the bat. Would definately have all the leaning, moving parts, correct turning angels, G-forces/slippage on the wheels.
Any good sites on the basics engine rpm / gear ratio /shift points, etc..? I wouldn't think it would be that hard to put that in.. But i haven't looked into it...
What car do you drive in real life? Do you track at all? I have an audi a6, 2.7turbo... It's got 265hp, no mods or anthing.. I have never tracked it. It handles pretty well though It would be cool to model it.
Heh, and my name "The Car" is because my last name is Carr. I've used that alias for YEARS.
