I need some ideas about the development of my new FB compo.

To Richard Eric M. Lope (Relsoft):

Even though I have never at all experimented with OpenGL programming in FB as of yet, you are pretty much right on the mark with that reply of yours here. I mean now, OpenGL is capable of some very fast and *truly* amazing landscapes and 3D and then some, especially on higher-powered computers as well! And the sheer beauty of it is that it apparently is all being done in hardware, which is a big-time plus where OpenGL is concerned!! Big Grin With pure software though, the same thing can technically be achieved, but with much more lines indeed (and in at least rare to some cases, even as slow as treacle, too! Sad ).

And keeping within this thread, my man, since I will provide NO categories in my new compo, I will instead be providing a single theme for it here. So then, watch for OpenGL to be involved in one of my themes for one of my installments of the FreeBASIC Ultimate Demo Compo, Rel. Just watch for it now! Wink

Thank you so much for your fine reply here, and check you out again!! Cool
