Tutorials are way off the list right now as they take a lot of time. The only time I could use a comp for coding is on sundays when visit my dad. I don't know. I'll try to make a lil demo with lot's of comments so that it's code+tute in one.

BTW, I'm not an OpenGL guru or something. It's just it's so easy to learn like SDL.

Basically I would use SDL for:

Windowmanagement, input, and some sprites if I won't use GL and GL for renders.
