It would be a dragon simulator were you own the pet dragon. I was thinging of the dragon grow up and you able to play, buy items, breed. Perhaps a bit like neopets.
I will keep a lot of flexibility to this plan.

I know this is ambitous but I like a challenge.
So are their any similar games out there and how does the idea sound.

Well, I had an idea for a few things to make the game a little more interesting... What if in addition to the elements, you could train the dragons up for specific purposes? Maybe make it so they can be bred for dragon racing or maybe for service as mounts in a dragoon squadron or something. Or perhaps you train a well-mannered beauty that is fit for royal escort services. Then you could sell your dragons to the various people and with the cash buy upgrades on your place or maybe purchase rare dragon eggs or something. Ohh.. what about selling dragon eggs to the local buffet?

Make a new twist... Have like 9 different types of dragons (3 types in 3 different categories) and they each have specific strengths and weaknesses... And fight them against each other. Maybe an online game!
Who knows... Maybe just a small RPG, very very small.
earn.

Would be very fun to pit your dragons against other peoples' dragons... way cool indeed.

Ryan some of your ideas sound very good. I like the idea of selling them for meat. I already had the idea about breeeding them for beauty and fighting skill but your ideas go a bit more in depth.
Ninkazu nope never heard of it.

Well, Bahamut Lagoon is a SNES game by SquareSoft, and it has tons of dragons in it. So if you have trouble with the graphics, refer to that game!
